Ethan Phillips was born and raised in Garden City on Long Island, NY with his five sisters. He received a Jesuit education before receiving a degree in English literature from Boston University and Masters of Fine Art from Cornell University.
He enjoys backpacking, rock climbing, and is an amateur bird watcher and botanist.
Phillips currently lives in LA with his wife Patrica Creswell.
